Today Seanelle came home from school with a little story, and I would like to share it with you.
She is so excited for her tooth to come out. She has been talking about how badly she wants her name on the "Tooth Chart" in her classroom. The gap in her teeth continues to widen, and the tooth is getting more loose, but just won't come out.
Today she was showing off her gap to her teacher, and her teacher said, "Seanelle! You better make sure you put your name on the Tooth Chart!"
Seanelle was beaming with pride while she was telling me this story. When I asked her if she put her name on the tooth chart, she knew by my expression that I wasn't really happy about this deception...
"Mom, I HAD to! My teacher TOLD me to put my name on the tooth chart, and I HAVE TO DO WHAT SHE SAYS!"
I couldn't help but laugh for such quick thinking, but asked her what she was going to do when her tooth really did fall out. She has thought this through. She responded, "I have to write my name every time a tooth comes out mom!"
